Welcome to a memorable summer evening filled with delicious food, stunning scenery, and live music! This cruise celebrates Finnish culinary and musical traditions, offering an authentic shipboard atmosphere amidst the beautiful landscapes of Lake Vesijärvi and Lake Päijänne. The route includes a passage through the charming Vääksy Canal.
Maitopojat are known for their cheerful performances, where old-time kupletit (traditional Finnish comic songs), stories, and humor come to life. Their repertoire features beloved classics from legends like Hiski Salomaa, Veikko Lavi, Jaakko Teppo, and Repe Helismaa—along with their own comic songs and a few surprises. Between songs, they share stories about Finnish masters of the kupletti genre, life on the road, and the origins of the music. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and perfectly captures the essence of a beautiful Finnish summer evening on the lake.
During the evening, you can enjoy a buffet dinner prepared from local Finnish ingredients (price: €26 when purchased in advance with your ticket), completing your experience out on the water. You will also have the chance to chat with the Captain and catch a quick glimpse into daily life on the bridge.
