This three-hour evening cruise takes you through the beautiful archipelago of northern Lake Päijänne, where lush green islands, summer cottages and lake views shimmering in the evening sun create the perfect setting for a Finnish summer evening.
On our Summer Evening Cruise, Lake Päijänne is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Head out on deck into the warm summer evening, admire the light of the setting sun across the lake or sit back and enjoy good food and drinks. You can also chat with our steam engineer about the ship and its technology or stop by to say hello to the captain on the bridge – please remember to ask the captain for permission before entering. The atmospheric setting of the more than 120-year-old s/s Suomi, combined with the surrounding Finnish lake scenery, makes the evening an experience in itself!
Summer evenings and great flavours belong together! Our generous dinner buffet, prepared in the ship’s own kitchen, is an essential part of the cruise experience. The buffet offers a varied selection of delicious Finnish flavours and locally sourced food to enjoy in the restaurant, surrounded by views of Lake Päijänne. The dining experience is complemented by our carefully selected wine list, updated annually. Guests who have booked dinner will have seats reserved in the restaurant for the duration of their meal. Please note that when there are many diners on board, dinner may be served in several sittings.

At the ship’s bar, you can choose a glass of wine to enjoy with good company or pick up a refreshing cocktail to sip out on deck.
