Hop aboard in Jyväskylä and spend a summer day surrounded by the beautiful islands and lake scenery of northern Lake Päijänne. The journey takes you via Säynätsalo, Mämminiemi and Kärkinen to Korpilahti and back. Travel the entire route from Jyväskylä to Korpilahti and back, or create your own summer day trip by making use of the stops along the way. You can, for example, spend the day at Mämminiemi recreational area, discover Alvar Aalto’s architecture in Säynätsalo or combine your boat trip with a cycling adventure!
On board m/s Suomen Suvi, you can enjoy the scenery throughout the journey! Make the most of the summer day on the ship’s spacious sun deck or relax in the comfortable restaurant, where large windows offer beautiful lake views from every seat. During the journey, you can enjoy a generous lunch buffet prepared in the ship’s own kitchen, featuring Finnish flavours and fresh seasonal ingredients. Pair your lunch with a glass of wine and enjoy a leisurely meal as the scenery of Lake Päijänne glides past the restaurant’s large windows. The ship has a fully licensed bar, and you can also purchase sweet and savoury snacks, ice cream and soft drinks throughout the journey.

The return journey of the Northern Lake Päijänne Boat Trip takes you from Korpilahti to Jyväskylä, passing through Kärkinen, Mämminiemi and Säynätsalo. During the journey, you'll experience the beautiful island scenery of Lake Päijänne and the impressive Kärkinen Bridge from the water!
